Here are the signs that were used to identify this as an
- I don't order from Dell, so why would I get an order confirmation?
- I got two emails around the same time. Similar, but slightly different (see below).
- They can’t/didn’t spell PayPal correctly. They have it with an “i” at the end instead of a “l”.
What’s interesting about these is that they don’t conceal the domain name by using HTML code as most do. Instead, they purchased official sounding domain names like “pw-order.com” and “dellshoppingservice.com” so that they will look legit. Don’t fall for it and don’t visit those sites.
