If you Go:
What: AgniTEKnology Showcase
When: 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday
Where: 700 E. University Drive, College Station
Why: Free disks with the new Microsoft security patch will be handed out and the event will include the Microsoft Truck, which has demonstrations of new Microsoft, Intel, Cisco and Hewlett Packard technologies.

To protect your Computer:

  • Install an anti-virus program such as Norton, McAfee or Kaspersky.
  • Use anti-spyware software such as Webroot Spy Sweeper.
  • Do not open unsolicited e-mails.
  • Do not follow links on unfamiliar Web sites.
  • Keep security patches updated on all software.
