Last week Oracle posted a new update of Java version 6 Update 29. Here is the information from Oracle related to that release.
====================================================================================
Advisory: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/topics/security/javacpuoct2011-443431.html
Due to the threat posed by a successful attack, Oracle strongly recommends that customers apply Critical Patch Update (CPU) fixes as soon as possible. This CPU contains 20 new security fixes across Java SE.
Note: There was no Java 6 Update 28 released to the public. So, this update skips an update number.

This update provides support for the release of iTunes 10.5. Along with security patches, this version of iTunes supports the Apple iOS 5 release on Wednesday. Also iTunes 10.5 no longer requires Quicktime to be installed to run iTunes. Quicktime has been removed from the iTunes install process, but will still be updated as a separate application in ManageIT.
If you have any questions on the changes in this version or anything else with ManageIT please feel free to contact us at www.agniteksupport.com or by calling 888-4-AGNITEK.

We have just pushed out ManageIT definition update 2.06.023 from testing to stable on the ManageIT distribution server. Your next ManageIT Client CheckIn should pick up this new version. This update provides support for the initial release of 32bit Adobe Flash 11 for both Internet Explorer and other applications which use the Flash plugin. Flash 11 now supports 32 and 64bit versions just as Java does. The 64bit flash modules are only useful if you are running an 64bit browser. Most people are still running 32bit browsers even on 64bit OSes, as up until this moment there has been no flash plugins available for 64bit browsers. Our immediate focus is to deploy potential security updates to your existing 32bit flash installs.
If you have any questions on the changes in this version or anything else with ManageIT please feel free to contact us at www.agniteksupport.com or by calling 888-4-AGNITEK.

Sometimes it seems like your IT guy speaks another language. Some of the words sound like English, but surely the definition differs. Perhaps there is an alien life form that currently inhabits his body. Which would make sense, wouldn’t it? I mean how else does he work his IT magic, if not by using some extra-terrestrial super power? Well, in an effort to bring peace to our species and understanding to the human race, I have compiled a top 10 list to cover some of the more basic phrases.
Computer
When a tech is talking about your computer, he is referring to the CPU tower that generally sits in a cabinet in your desk or on the floor. The monitor, keyboard, and mouse are not a part of the computer, think of them as accessories.
Overheating the CPU
Your CPU (refer to number 1 if you are unsure what your CPU is) needs to have some room to breathe. Overheating is the easiest way to ensure your computer will not work properly, but it is also the easiest to fix. ...

Voices for Children recruits, trains, and supports volunteers from the community to be advocates for children in foster care. VCF’s Court Appointed Special Advocates (or CASAs) assist a child or sibling set who have been placed in the state’s custody because of abuse or neglect by interviewing the child and service providers; reviewing all relevant records; participating in mediations and staffing, as well as specific tasks as directed by the court. They represent the child’s best interest.
Voices for Children was established in the Brazos Valley in 2000, and since has expanded to serve nearly 70% of the children in Brazos County, 50% in Grimes and 40% in Burleson who are in the state's custody. With a goal to have 100% of the children in Brazos, Grimes, and Burleson Counties having a CASA volunteer speaking for them, Voices for Children recently teamed with AgniTEK to launch their new website. Visit voicesforchildreninc.com to learn more about this organization, donate to their cause, or volunteer as a CASA ...
